On June 29 the day of the holy Apostles Peter and Paul. Although the church calendar, according to celebrate it in two Apostles Bulgarian folk tradition, the day remained with the name Peter. The next day - June 30, church is dedicated to Fair celebration of the 12 Apostles, which we call the people in the name of the other Apostles - Paul - Pavlovden.

In the iconography of St. Peter is portrayed as an old man in white robes who holds the keys of Paradise gates and determines which soul is righteous and what is not f.

The day of the holy Apostles Peter Pavel is one of the most respected summer holidays in the tradition of the Bulgarians. According to the perceptions of people on this day should not be doing an important farm work. In the church wear Petrovski bread and apples-petrovki, sanctified and distributed to relatives and neighbors.
